Just off from tier 2, failed the tone test with flying colours !! There is definately a fault on the line. It's logged into the system with BT Wholesale, a frames? engineer will be sent to test the exchange and I should hear back from them within the next 24 hours !!

Slowly getting there, and they can poke the 72 hours where the sun don't shine

Re: Activation - BT.COM says its Complete

Just got my call from Sky and BT have re-jumpered the line and the internet has sprung into life.

Cheers "Iamnottheenemy" you were spot on mate !! So glad I managed to circumvent the 3 day rule too !!

As for download speed well, it's about what I was getting on ADSLMax with BT, around 5000kbps with speedtest.net or a healthier 6992 kbps with bbmax.co.uk depending on which is giving the true results.

To be honest I was expecting a little closer to the 8mb level moving to Skys LLU but it's not a complete shock. Very glad I stuck with the mid product though as at 3km from exchange I knew there was no way I'd get more than 8mb.

Ping is shocking, it was bad enough on BT so my lag could be even worse with my 360 now !!

Still will see how it all play out now.
Post Sky DLM and after some cowboy contracters and BT ruined my line quality (was 6mb pre DLM):
