      Home Page and Toolbar

      Hi

After the hand-holding I got yesterday I am back for more assistance.

I changed from BT dial-up to Sky yesterday (painless) and my browser is still BT yahoo - is this correct?

The toolbar is still the BT one - is this correct?

Also, I have tried to change the home page icon to direct me to Sky but when I click the icon it takes me to BT YAHOO home page!

As usual please reply in language for idiots.

      Thanks
      Karen

Hi Karen, Try this for the homepage problem.

In IE, get the page you want to be your homepage on the screen then on the menu goto Tools, Internet Options, Select the General Tab, in the Homepage section click 'Use Current', then OK.

This may differ slightly depending on which version of IE you are using but it should work for you.

I don't think the toolbar is too important - have you noticed anything on there that doesn't work ?

^^^^ what martyn said or right click on the IE icon on the desktop click properties and you will see a box that you can copy and paste or type a web address in to set your home page.

Some Advice.. Its always advisable to inform your old ISP as soon as you have migrated that you have moved.
