      hi update

i connected directly to the test socket, and was still getting disconnected.

i noted no increase in speeds or noise margins, it was the same as of the extension, starting high and towards the evening dropping of till disconnecting.
i ve tried rebooting modem to fix the noise margin, tried the software also to fix the noise margin, and no differance.

any other ideas, or should i just accept it it what it is?

What SNR did you set in Mognuts? You should start very high, say about 30dbs and gradually reduce it till the errors start to appear. This will reduce your speed so you have the choice of a stable slower connection or a fast unstable one. The choice is up to you. Remember you have to reset the figure when you boot the router as the setting will be lost.

hi,,,i only set it to about 10, i ll try again,.

to be honest i m happy with slower speeds on an evening as i dont do that much, but during the day is when i tend to download, so need it then.

i think i will have magnuts run on an evening and as normal during day, as i dont seem to have many errors during the day

      thanks
