      Broadband problem...

Hey all..Hope someone can help. Been having terrible problems with Sky broadband since I got it in. I am using it wirelessly on my pc. I have a belkin usb adapter hooked up. I keep losing the signal every 20-30 seconds for about 5 seconds. My signal strength is still excellent but according to my wireless monitor software the connection between the router and the internet keeps dropping. Ive tried everything, unticking uPNP etc. I have been onto sky broadband and I am awaiting a call from tier 3 support which is meant to take 5 days... Rubbish!!!! I have a laptop which I use and I have the same problem... Any suggestions?? Im tearing my hair out at this stage...

      Re: Broadband problem...

It sounds very much like wireless interference - something like a neighbour using the same or similar wireless channel number that you are. But you've tried everything, so I'm guessing you tried changing channel numbers, right?

you won't get a call from tier 3 for a wireless issue - it'd dealt with by tier 1....
