      Hey all,

      Just been on the phone to technical support again. After 20min trying to explain to the tier 1 guy I managed to get put through to tier 3 where I spoke to a nice chap. Basically he made some more adjustments and as you can see below I am getting about another 1mb than before. He said with an attenuation level of 29 he would expect me to be getting 10-12mb but I seem to be losing data somewhere not at the exhange end or home end.

      Another thing which this points out that in a few years time when speeds have increased even more were going to be limited by BT's rubbish wires to the same as what we get now.

      Noise levels are usually at their lowest during the day. You'll have to wait until the evening to see if your router can maintain a connection at that speed. I'll cross my fingers for you…
