can I still use this mac code?

I have not been able to get activated (stated the 7th) and for reasons that would take me an age to eXplain and quite frankly I don't understand anymore, ( neither do Sky or else they do but there not telling me)I am still not sure when I might get activated.

What I do know, is that sometime, hopefully soon, Sky will be able to let me sign up again. They guestamate about another 5 days but eaqually there not sure.

Will my mac code be ok to use? ( its 30 days is up on the 25 Sept) and I feel by the time a new order goes in, any new activation date will be beyond the 25th.

      Anyone any ideas?

      Cheers

      Hi Beephe

      1) Have you already given the mac code to them?

      2) If no to 1) you should be fine to give it

afaik the mac code lasts for 30 days, so as long as given within that period you should be ok

      good luck

yes, they have already had the mac code twice and confirmed that it is ok - its been stopped for other reasons that they have been unable to eXplain to me.

By the way what does 'afaik' mean ?

      Thankyou

      Hi Andrew

Sorry to read about your mess and I guess the reason its no good now is its either expired or has been used and rejected so it looks like you will have to ask for a new one.

AFAIK = As Far As I Know

Hope you get all sort soon mate

Some Advice.. Its always advisable to inform your old ISP as soon as you have migrated that you have moved.
