      Download Speed Drops

Hi, my internet speed is 15.3mb, and when I download it usualy goes somewhere between the region of 400kbps to 1000kbps (usually closer to 400). But every so often the download speed completely drops down to around 35kbps, so downloads are slower aswell as loading pages etc. If i reboot the router (holding down small button) it usually fixes it. I really need to find out why this is happening, if anyone has any ideas I would very much appreciate it. (Its been fine for months and only recently started happening)

      Thanks in advance.

      Re: Download Speed Drops

short time for stats (needs to be 6-24 hours with lots of downloading) saying that there does not look alot wrong (i only base that on looking at errors) SNR & Attn both look good to me (again no expert on this)
if you are using all the same set up as before (when you had no problems)
don't suppose you have had any power cuts / surges that may have affected anything ?

keep an eye on the stats for a couple of days and see what shows up

      Re: Download Speed Drops

might be worth trying it in the socket with all the supplied cables and get a longer ethernet one instead but at first glance them stats dont look bad at all - albeit a short time

give it a good cane overnight and repost - might show something up....

as for the cable you've been using - they can literally go belly up overnight so to rule it out use the supplied ones

      also, are you wireless?...
