      (DNS error)

Hi i am currently on the mid package with sky broadband. I get the full sync of 8096 kbps but at evening times i suffer random dropouts. The noise margin never really drops below 7.1 at any time during the day but at evening time i will get an DNS server cannot be reached error through windows network diagnostics for example. I have tried many different DNS addresses but this is quite clearly not the problem and i this error is related generally to the connection although it points to the DNS.

This will require me to reboot the router for the connection to start up again. This happens some evenings but not others. I am getting really sick of this. It seems that this happens when the connection is left idle for some time but i am not too sure to be honest. I will post detailed stats very soon. Please give any assistance you can.

NB: got disconection again on 9/9/07 about 10.30pm. Did skytest before rebooting and got error 300. This is damn frustrating.
