Cancellation - "Chosen sky bd product"??

The customer must stay with their chosen Sky Broadband product for 12 months and with Sky TV during their Sky Broadband contract.
I want to cancel Sky Broadband and move to another provider. I was on the Mid package for 7 months, however 2 months ago I thought what the hell and upgraded to the Max package. It was all over the phone, 5 minutes after hanging up my router had sync at 16mb etc.. Did me upgrading to Sky Max recommitment to another 12 months???

If not the case above, then I've got about 3 months left, can I call Sky and say hey here's 30 for the remaining 3 months, let me leave early and give me a MAC code?

I don't think upgrading your package starts you again with another 12 months as for leaving early there is only one way you will find out and give them a call but they would be quite within their rights to force you to see you remaining months out.

11 (i) Unless we agree otherwise, you cannot change your chosen Product unless Conditions 1(f), 5(b) or 7(a) apply. If, after your Minimum Term, you wish to change to another Product, you must end this Contract and enter into a new Sky Broadband subscription contract unless the circumstances set out in Conditions 1(f) and 7(a) apply.
I think this is the bit that refers to your position. The way I read it, if you change your product during the Minimum period, you are still on the original contract. If you change your product after the minimum period, then you start a new contract. No mention is made as to whether a monthly or annual contract would be applied. If you don't change your product after the minimum period, you go on to a monthly contract.
