      Alternate Router.

Hi, I am new to this forum and am just seeing if the answer to this question is known. I have already searched and can't find it.

I have a large old terraced house, unfortunately the sky/netgear wireless output does not cover some of the areas I require. I have therefore got my sky user name and password for the router and started to use a Belkin ADSL2 MIMO router. Initially this works fine however the connection will not hold steady and I keep loosing the connection.

This doesn't happen with the netgear router. When the Belkin one does work and keep the connection I get a greatly increased wireless coverage that does what I require I therefore would like to keep using this one if I can get a stable connection.

Does anyone out there who may understand things a bit more clearer that I have any idea why the Belkin router wont hold the connection.

      Re: Alternate Router.

my advice - although not really helpful - is to scrap wireless as its crap.....but obviously its not the most convinient solution...

as for y the router drops connection, have a read of the links on my sig on how to obtain ur router stats and post them as it might be an issue with setup
