Courier used for delivery of router?

Can anyone confirm which courier delivers the router? I am hard of hearing and can miss the door bell. If I know which one to look out for, I can be alert if I see one of their vans in the neighbourhood.

If memory serves, mine came via Parcel Force, I wasn't in so they left it next door and put a card through.

Re: Courier used for delivery of router?

The 1st one I had in March was Parcel Line and the replacement one I got this week was from parcel force.

BTW since I started going deaf (due to crappy immune system) I got a special wireless doorbell that you cannot miss and it also comes with a reciever that you can have with you which can vibrate/make a sound.

Here is the link to it:

RNID.org.uk: Shop: Product category A to Z: Alerting devices

Since I got mine I have never missed the door, it even wakes me up which is useful.

Re: Courier used for delivery of router?

I have a flashing portable doorbell ringer, but if I forget to carry it to where I am in the house then I might not hear the bell. I have a large Victorian house.

I also have somewhere a kit from RNID where you wear a vibrating alarm on the belt. this connects to several devices but I found it too bulky to carry, so don't bother. I should really!

Sky use parcel force to send out the routers.

Re: Courier used for delivery of router?

      Hi there

Sky uses Parcel Force to deliver routers. If there's no one at home, they'll try and leave it with a neighbour. But if this isn't possible, the router will be delivered to the local Post Office branch. Either way if there's no one at home to take delivery, a card will be put through the door to let you know where to collect it.

      Hope this helps.
