      Router arrived today.

      Only 4 days after activation.

Am up and running and seem to be synched at the max speed up and down.
Not surprising as I live about 250 yards from the exchange.

I am looking at the email help section now.

I left a note on my door as I was at work asking for them to leave parcel with any neighbour.
They left a card confirming that it was 3 door down the road.

Re: Concerned about losing ADSL access

They give you an estimated activation date as given to them by BT. They say it could be 2 or 3 days later just in case BT are not on schedule.

When I rang sky on Monday, they were able to tell me that the router had been dispatched that very day.

Re: Concerned about losing ADSL access

I made contact with customer services as I was advised to do after router arrived. I was promised a financial compensation because of the loss of internet service and for the phone calls I made to try and find out what was going on.

received an email yesterday, informing me that I was being awarded 1.67 as compensation.

That won't even pay for the phone calls. One call alone was over 37 minutes whilst a CS person tried to find out what was going on.

      Pathetic regard to customers.
