Any tips on reducing Sky to Sky migration times?

I have two BT phone lines at home. One (line A) is used exclusively for Sky BB, the other (line B) is used for all calls and is the one the Sky TV box is connected to.

I want to migrate my BB from line A to line B and then cancel line A with BT.

Sky have told me that to do this, I'll be without BB for 4 weeks - 2 weeks to cancel on line A and a further 2 weeks to enable it on line B. I *really* don't want to be without BB for that long.

I was toying with the idea of cancelling all Sky products and then rejoining to get the BB on the right line but having had the BB for less than 12 months that's probably a non-starter.

Anyone got any tips on making the migration quicker than 4 weeks?

      TIA.

won't happen....Sky's system only allows one active BB service on a customer's account at any one time so that has to be cancelled down first before a new service can be added

Any reason why you can't just cancel line B?
