    How much useage

    This is a discussion on How much useage within the Sky Broadband help forums, part of the Sky Broadband help and support category; Does anybody know if you can check how much you are using, so you can get the right package Cheers...

      How much useage

      Does anybody know if you can check how much you are using, so you can get the right package

      No not really. The router with Sky firmware doesn't track usage nor it the information available on the sky website.

      The next best thing it to install an app on your machine (and each machine on the network) and collate the info yourself to find out your usage

      Theres a free bit of software, NetMeter, that does exactly that for you. As jewksey says, if its on all of the PCs in your house, it will do exactly what you require.

      You can set limits etc. and timescales on it, so it will warn you if you are getting near to your limit, and can also be set to monitor monthly periods.

      Sounds just what you need
