      What shall I do???

      Hiya,

I'm in the process of moving my Sky+ to my new house, I have my BT line connected and was planning to order Sky Broadband and Sky Talk. However I have just done some line tests and it turns out my BT line is only capable of 3meg. I'm approx 2Km from the exchange.

I'm not sure whether it's worth going for the Mid package or sticking with the Base package. The 2Gb download limit on Base seems a bit low for me, hence I'm considering the Mid (even though I won't get the full 8 meg speeds).

I've looked around for any 4 meg broadband deals but Virgin Media are the only ones available, but unfortunately thet arn't available on my street.

      What do you guys suggest?

      Cheers

Personally i would go for the Sky mid package. At 5 a month it's a bargain.

I live a similair distance from my exchange and my line test results showed i was only capable of getting 512kbps.

My connection is stable at 3.3mb all times of the day/night so i wouldn't read too much into the line test results.
