      Poor Connection

      I'm a Sky Max BB user for last 2 months now. Distance from exchange 2.23km. Router fixed at master socket. Connection stats as follows:

      System Up Time 00:49:08
      Port Status TxPkts RxPkts Collisions Tx B/s Rx B/s Up Time

      Connection Speed 5280 kbps 768 kbps
      Line Attenuation 15.5 db 31.5 db
      Noise Margin 7.3 db 13.0 db

      Shouldn't I get better speed? Any advice?

      I would expect a lot higher than that, infact probably about 14mb or so?

      When you say master socket, front of it or have you taken the plate off and tried the test socket?

      firstly, reboot the router - looks like the 15.5 bug is raising its head again...

      secondly post the detailed stats so peopl can see if anything there is wrong...
