    test socket??

      test socket??

      does anyone else on here just have there microfilter plugged into the test socket all the time? or is it just me? should i just leave the microfilter in the test socket or should i put it back into the master socket faceplate?

      If there are no wires connected to the back of the face plate then it should amount to the same thing, pulling off the face plate just disconnects any extension wiring that might be connected to the back of the faceplate.
      The only person likely to complain is BT if they ever come round for any reason and spot that you have been fiddling.
