      Upgrade To Max Or Not?

I've finally been upgraded to Mid, I wanted to know if it was possible for me to get a faster speed if I went to max. Would anyone be able to give me an indication from these stats?

      Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Upgrade To Max Or Not?

I'm assuming by base, mid, max your referring to the broadband speed services that Sky offer to us. If so, where in gods name do you have to be to get Max. I'm just outside Milton Keynes and it would appear that Sky do not have the servers available to provide me with anything but the basic broadband which they rely on BT to provide. I therefore assume you have to be in London to get max and us midlanders get the string and paper cups service lol

The Milton Keynes exchange is Sky enabled as you can see here so you are perhaps on a smaller exchange further afield?

if you have the white netgear router, could you reboot it aas sometimes it give the figure 15.5 as an attenuation which is a bug.
we could then advise more on the download speed

as for gaming, from other posts i have read, a higher upload speed is supposed to be better (with max you get around 700ish)

are you pinging the game server / bbc / or using speedtest to get your ping ?
