I had a similar issue when I tried to order SKY max. The web site would not let me order it, so I telephoned SKY. They told me that SKY max was sold out in my area and would not be available until September (Call Person 1), October (Call Person 2), but I could have Connect for 5 a month plus a 20 connection fee. I declined their offer. I kept checking their web site daily and after about 5 days it allowed me to order Sky max. The router came 6 days later and I was connected after 11 days.

      Re: sold out

Each exchange only has a limited number of connections, I don't think they are actually divided into Base Mid Max, but when these are taken up, it's sold out. No others will be available until someone ceases their supply, or Sky put another DSLAM. The former can happen any time, the latter could take years, depending on the demand at the particular exchange.
