    Sky Router not arrived...how long should it take?

    This is a discussion on Sky Router not arrived...how long should it take? within the Sky Broadband help forums, part of the Sky Broadband help and support category; i'll have to call them and find out...........heres hoping..... thanks again Dave...

      When I had all my problems I rang Sky CS and stated my case, I ended up with one month free BB and one months free TV subs. Which covered the cost of staying with my old ISP until I got changed over, as I had to pay an additional month.

      It may be worth a go, stating that you are now out of pocket and feel that you should be offered something. Don't lose your temper though and remember you may get nothing at all if you try.

      I'm just waiting a call back from VM to see wether I can extend my cut off date by a month........

      I hope its only a temporary problem with sky.....Vm's too expensive!

      Sky should have informed you as soon as they knew there was a problem with your activation. I ordered bb max on saturday 4th and got my router and activation date on thursday 9th.

      I was almost a month before I got my router, I had to phone them up and got some sort of excuse from them. 2 days later i got my router and was activated a week from the call.

      Regarding the BT checker, i tried that but it says it can't give details on broadband orders.
      You don't use the BB checker, that is only for BT BB orders. You have to use the Landline Orders, when the list comes up, click 'View Details' and you will be shown what is being done on your line.
