SKY+ & Multi rm installed - problems with Skybroadband???

Sky+ & Multi room installed- Intermittent Router - have to manually turn off as apposed to remotely rebooting - the i green light is solid as apposed to the usual flickering green when this happens.

Wireless connection is woking, but ethernet isnt working - this swaps around, sometimes the Ethernet connection is working, wheras the wireless connection isn't working.

Have since put micro filters on the end of teh double phone adapter coming out of the sky+ box and also coming out of the multi room box. - the double adaptor is connected via micor filter to the phone line.

The router is about 4metres from the newly located dish and the ethernet cable runs outside of my room, passing very closely to the lnb cable and down to the router - im very close to both router and dish, although theres problems with connection thru out the house..- Could the install of the dish be causing problems?

Ive also turned off UPin settings and set to auto-108Mbps and wireless seems quicker although theres still no connection from the ethernet.

Its more likely the telephone connection to the Sky box's is causing issues. Try unplugging all telephone connections and plug your router direct into the master socket thats the first one as the line comes in "preferably the test socket behind the face plate of the master" if it works ok there then try reconnecting things one at a time to see what is casuing the problem.

have now disconnected the phone adaptor linking the sky boxes and its still the same - no ethernet, but wireless works BUT still have to manually switch off router. Maybe its a coincidence that the day of the install, the router decides to die? Guess ill be calling india soon and maybe a new router will solve it -

btw, is there a way to check to see if an ethernet connection is present? the green numerical icon is light up so the router is recongnising its plugged in. Is there a way to reset everything so that maybe, the ethernet can be recognised (tried factory reset on back of router) oh and the ethernet connected computer is a mac, 4other computers in the house are pcs with windows xp
