      getting together

Thank you for your help in getting my connection up and running. I think I 'm on the last step now ,how do I link my broadband connection to internet explorer. when I open my browser it connects with my old dial-up supplier, will I have to uninstall my old dial-up or can I have them both installed. If I go into tools>internet options>connections it only shows my dial-up so I can not set the default.

Thank You for Any Help Given

Have you set this as never dial a connection?

Advice given is in good faith and if taken is done so at your own risk. If in doubt consult a qualified person.

      Re: getting together

As newbuilder says, select 'Never dial a connection' and this should get rid of the dial up box. However, it is advisable to keep your dial-up modem installed and ready for use, if your BB goes down, you will still have access to the net for help. If you do not have a free dial-up PAYG account it is worth getting one. Many ISPs have this type of account, unfortunately, to my knowledge, Sky is not one of them.
