connect to mid, now sold out!!!!

      Can anyone help?
i signed up to sky broadband conect when the checker told me i could have it for 5 per month. told i,d recieve a letter and transfer to sky mid package when the exchange was llu'd.
i noticed 2 weeks ago the exchange has been upgraded, but still no letter!
i have phoned and keep getting different answers from sky!
i have checked the phone number checker again today on sky.com, it now says that the base mid and max is now sold out, connect is only available for 17 per month!!!
anyone got any ideas whats happening? do i still get changed over to mid? does my monthly cost go up to 17 per month? noone at sky seems to know or give out a sensible answer!
many thanks in advance for any help!

I wouldn't worry too much unless they try to up your price. Hopefully they wont.

Re: connect to mid, now sold out!!!!

I'm a bit worried about my move to LLU. I downgraded my TV package on Wednesday of this week and the guy at Sky told me that my 5 offer for Broadband Connect ends in mid August. However, my Exchange was LLUd at the end of June and I'm still on Sky Connect.

So if Sky do want to try putting one over me, they can take a run and jump if they think I'm going to start paying 17.00 from mid August to stay on Connect.

I'm going to wait and see if Sky write to me about the price hike for Broadband and check the BT website for any orders on my account.

Re: connect to mid, now sold out!!!!

I changed my Sky package and my connect (synch 3-4Mb) was increased to 17 without my knowledge. I had a frenzied dispute with Sky. However my exchange was LLUd at the end of June, about the same time as my dispute. I am now on Mid and, although over 2Km from the exchange I am synching at 7.6 +, very consistently. My actual speed is about 7Mb (DSLZone) with a maximum recorded of 7.6. This is superb and fantastic value and I have asked for Max. Despite my dispute, now resolved, Sky need to have satisfied customers and if the circumstances dictate problems will be resolved, that being my experience.
