    broadband speed help

      if it runs better in the test socket, the replace the master (perhaps with an NTE-2000 from ADSLNation) - this should help to start with. Also, make sure only the 2 blue/white wires are connected to the faceplate - the orange/white ones aren't needed any more

      have a read in the cabling/wiring forum at the stickies at the top - lots of helpful info there!

      You could log an intermitent noisey line on "voice" calls with BT to get them to do some tests on the line, dont mention Sky or broadband cos they wont want to know. You seem pretty sure theres nothing else connected.

      i have had the line tested, no problems, looks like i will have to invest in a
      NTE-2000.also there are only 2 wires connected at the back of the faceplate.
