      Wireless PC Connection.

I got broadband max and my laptop works great with the wireless connection - sorted.

However, I also have a PC which I bought a D-Link wireless adaptor for but cant seem to get this to work continuously? I get my homepage but thats about it, then I just keep getting an error saying internet explorer cannot display page? (Even though my wireless link shows as connected with an excellent connection strength).

My router is obviously fine cos I can use my laptop without trouble.

Anyone any ideas on what the problem with my PC may be?

Post here or email me goldie1975@sky.com

NB - Im a novice so layman terms only please!!!

      Re: Wireless PC Connection.

Sounds like an encryption issue. Try disabling wireless encryption temporarily in the router -- see Sky CD's help files on how to access the router's user interface via Internet Explorer using (preferably) ethernet cable, or the laptop's wireless.

If you can then connect wirelessly via the Dlink adapter figure out how to match the router's encryption details to the Dlink's.
