      Hi, long time lurker on here however I still can't understand why my speeds are so slow.

      Im on max, my details as follows, pls help

      bad line by the looks of it....you in the master/test socket? and have all other sockets in use filtered? with the attenuation of 62 2MB would be roughly the best u'd get anyway

      so basically my line sucks and theres nothing I can do about other than change to cable?

      No, that's unlikely.

      See the cabling and faceplate help forum for info on diagnosing and fixing line noise problems.

      If/when you get this sorted you may see an improvement to ~2500kbps. Not brilliant but that's all your attenuation (line length) will allow. If you want more than this then other than moving house, cable is your only answer.
