      new user GDMT or ADSL2+

      Hi

Just changed from BT to sky a few days back, even though my connection
is much improved ( downloading at about 7Mb) could my line support a switch from GDMT to ADSL2+?

Re: new user GDMT or ADSL2+

Your attenuation would certainly support a faster connection with ADSL2+. Whether your line condition would isn't so clear, partly because your stats cover too short a period (and too little traffic passed) but also, being capped at 8096kbps this has given you a huge noise margin which will suppress any line errors from occurring.

There's only one way to find out - try it. The indications are good.

I understand that my line att and snr are fine. Not sure about my error rates though.

errors are minimal so should be a-ok! only way to see is ask and see what happens...
