How long to appear on BT Tracker?

I ordered Sky Broadband on Friday evening, giving them the MAC code for my transfer from Nildram. As of Monday afternoon, there are no orders showing on the BT Tracker. Should I be worried? How many working days have people seen it take for orders to show up. Thanks.

I'm also transfering from nildram, and mine took a few weeks. My activation day was 8th september and my order appeared on the BT website on my activation day and said I was to be activated on the 14th september.

Well I ordered on the 31st August and my order on the BT tracker has yet to appear. My activation date is supposed to be today, but the chances of actually getting activated today are extremely slim.
I'll phone Sky up tomorrow and chase them up.

It would appear that very few connections actually occur on the date suggested. It may be worth not contacting SKY for maybe a week after this date, unless you are left without any connection at all. This would free up support staff for those who actually need them, and you would also save money in 'phone charges, unless you read my sig.

Hi Andy welcome to the site

Mine was supposed to happen on the 31st Aug and it was not on the BT checker until the 1st of Sept and it then showed that SkyBB had placed the order with BT on th 31st for activation on the 7th, so its quite thats whats going to happen to a lot of people and its going to be a week longer.

I hope this isn't the case for everyone and good luck.

Do Sky broadband orders normally appear on the BT Tracker?

I queried Sky when I found out about this 'feature', but they claimed itd didnt. 'Surprisingly' my order still has yet to be completed, since the 7th when I had my activation date.

Is it Sky screwing up or BT??

If it's 'in the system' and 'we have a date' - why isn't anything appearing on the BT Tracker??

      Welcome to the site sibod

I really couldn't say who's at fault all I will say is SkyBB reliant on BT doing the work which includes the checker, though SkyBB have been known to say activation is on one date and it happens a week or so later.

Good luck and I hope it happens soon for you

My router arrived today (2 working days after order) but still nothing on BT Tracker, and no letter from Sky with activation date. I'll keep waiting.

I was also set for activation on the 8th September but from BT's tracker it would seem that Sky placed the order with BT on the 8th September. I now have an activation date for the 15th September so hopefully it will go through this time.
