      Why has speed dropped

      Hi Guys

Been with Sky BB about 6 weeks now on Connect. We are a fair way from the exchange (Wansford) so didn't expect too much.

Up until Fri I had a fairly solid 1meg connection, which given distance etc I can live with. However since Fri I have only been getting 1/2 meg at best. Tech support, no help "must be the site you are d/l from" Here are the stats from the router, any ideas (used Tcpoptimizer no change)

      Re: Why has speed dropped

That says you're syncing at just over 1.5Mb. You have a few errors but nothing too bad.
Is this speed from a speedtest website or by downloading a large file?
Also, are those stats with the router connected to the test socket?

From a speedtest and from d/l a few files, mp3's etc. Don't have a test socket.

I surely should be getting more than 0.4 meg d/l speeds
