Two PCs connected - Cant ping each other!

Got a desktop connected to the router via ethernet and a laptop connected wirelessly. Both have been assigned IP addresses by DHCP (192.168.0.2 and 192.168.0.3) with the router being 192.168.0.1.

Both work fine for connecting to the internet and both can ping the router (192.168.0.1). However, neither can ping each other which is weird...

      Any idea why?

Do you have Wireless Isolation mode enabled on the router?
Or on the laptop, does the wireless interface have the firewall enabled?

or it could be the same thing I had. When "Respond to Ping on Internet WAN Port" was not checked the PC's wouldn't respond to pings. Everything else worked (internet, network shares) just that they were unable to ping each other. I leave mine off as I don't see the need for it.

I'll have to try that. Shouldnt make any difference surely because the ping isnt going anywhere near the WAN port !!!!
