    Max connection and a terrible speed

    This is a discussion on Max connection and a terrible speed within the Sky Broadband help forums, part of the Sky Broadband help and support category; Not sure what you mean, i'm currently connected through my test socket and that is where the stats are from....

      Not sure what you mean, i'm currently connected through my test socket and that is where the stats are from.

      basically, looking at the stats, the CRC figures should (ideally) be zero - or at least about 0.1% of packets received (i think that's right). As you're are extremely high it would normally point to a wiring fault but as you're already in the test socket it could be a line issue. Either way, best get onto BT rather than Sky at this point as all we'd do would be cap the line to get rid of the errors....

      BT will do nothing about line errors!

      And they will not even discuss your Broadband issues with you directly as your ISP has to report any line faults!

      i mean he should report it as a noisey line or something - as if he's in the test socket with errors like that then it's gonna be something at his end
