      Unhappy Can anyone help me today please?


      Thanks for taking the trouble to read the post of a desperate man! I moved from NTl to sky and for a month it was fine, I am on the base package. For the last 2 and a half months however it has been atrocious.

      I initially suffered trying to get an internet connection. The light for the internet on the router that sky provided was constantly going off an then on making a connection impossible. I still have this problem but am able to connect a little more frequently now. However my internet speed is atrocious and worse than any dial up connection.

      I have of course been through the useless customer services at sky, and have finally obtained a ticket no for tier 3 support but am not confident they can fix my problems. I am connecting wirelessly - here are my stats and thanks for your help.

      Have a read of this post by mossy and saturday it should give you some pointers.
      Also if you could post you full router stats using this
      Sky Netgear DG834GT utility version 0.4
      I suspect with that sync speed you may have an internal wiring problem so a look at this should help
      Try your master socket for better results
      Lastly when obtaining your stats using the above try to do it wired if possible and definetely when trying speedtests.
