I'm due to be migrated over to SKY on Wednesday of this week....I was previously with NDO.
On Saturday I was quite happily using my Broadband connection then all of a sudden it just stopped working.
I checked my router and nope nothing! I wasn't even getting the orange Internet Light to say there was no ADSL signal.
My Sky router had arrived earlier that day, so I decided to try it, to my suprise my Internet Light on the router went to a solid green light, however when I checked in the router config, it's no giving me an IP address....I guess this is because BT haven't migrated me over yet.
Is this a normal sympton of migration where the signal from my old ISP just stops??
The funny thing is when I have my exisiting router (not the Sky one), plugged in and my adsl connection connected to it, my telephone line goes dead and I can't make any calls.....If I plug my Sky Router in and my adsl connection connected to it, the phone line comes live again.

Yer with migration you can have anywhere between 30 mins to a days worht of outage while the transfer takes place.
Its got the sync'd signal from sky, so its jsut waiting for sky to switch it on at their end.

It can take a while BT tend to be slow try calling SkyBB TS and telling them whats going on they should be able to help you.
Some Advice.. Its always advisable to inform your old ISP as soon as you have migrated that you have moved.
