Test that I did with the SkyBB wireless box

This is very strange. Every night, the internet would not work, and leaving the box on during the night, it would not work in the morning either.
So I turned it off and waited for a while, turned it back on and it worked!
Now I turn it off during the night, and in the morning it always works until late in the evening, where I turn it off for about 30 minutes and it works again.

I believe the box has a problem when its used for a long time?

Possible - the box can severely overheat especially if it isn't mounted on its feet.

However, the symptoms you describe sound far more like a noise margin problem or a line error problem.

For noise margin issues see the first sticky in my signature at the bottom of this post. If it is line errors, as the errors build up the connection gets sluggish then dies. Rebooting (turning the box off) "clears" the errors which then start building again. See the cabling and faceplate help forum for info on diagnosing and fixing line errors.
