Slow to zero broadband connection between 10pm and 11pm every night? wtf - help!!!

      Firstly - hello.

Secondly, I can't believe I am posting on a forum regarding my broad band connection - surely the bb should be one of those things you take for granted, like air for instance.

Anyway, I have recently moved to Redditch and have signed on with Sky because of the price. Previously with other providers at other places I have lived I have had no problems with the connection.

The area I am in allows me to go for the Max package, so I regularly am connecting at >13Mbps, and it is really speeding... all day.

That is apart from between 10pm and 11pm; not exactly peak times. Anyhow, I would not expect peak times to mean no connection what so ever.

I say no connection. The green light is on to indicate a connection, and on the router page it states that my speed is as above however, beleive me, that is not the case.

I can't fire up a website; I get the page cannot be displayed message. I can't download or anything, it reads 0.00kbps on all downloads.

I have rung the technical support and have had the case refered to the 'level 3' department (what ever that is) as they could not determine anything was wrong. I have to keep ringing back to try to speak to them. Are these guys serious?

Anyway, is there anything that anyone can help me with here. I would really appreciate it. I am currently using the modem/router wired, not wireless and it is running from a BT installed socket. Like I said, the connection is speedy, apart from between those times. I can't lock down the exact time it happens.

      Cheers in advance.
