      .....
With that done, he took my MAC and proceeded to do a new order, and explained TOC etc.
Are you sure he understood that you were giving him an LLU MAC and not a normal one? Unfortunately in my experience a lot of the sales people you speak to don't know the difference.

I've been told categorically that Sky don't accept LLU MACs at all, so am currently waiting for Plusnet to cease my line before I can migrate to Sky.

Im not giving him an LLU MAC. As 98% of TalkTalk customers are not LLU (SORRY TO SAY).

      HUGE UPDATE !!!!!!!

Got a letter from SKY today confirming order.

I rang up SKY today from work, and a young woman was pleased to check my order, and BT gave her a connection Migration date of September 21st (1 Day before TGS)... Weeeeeeeeeeee.....

So, I guess this clears it up.
TalkTalk customers can reat easy and know they dont need to switch back to BT!

      Re: Talk Talk Line

Are you saying that you have Talk Talk line rental AND Sky Broadband on that line? Is it still working and have you had any broadband performance issues since? I thought this combination would not work.....
It's possible to have TalkTalk calls and another provider's broadband so long as you pay line rental to BT - that's what I'm being led to believe anyway!

      Re: Talk Talk Line

IF you don't pay BT for your line rental, you cannot get Sky BB.....Also, if you have Sky BB and then change to TalkTalk, this will also stop your Sky BB.

IF you have TalkTalk but pay line rental to BT it will work - but recently TalkTalk have started taking ownership of lines without the concent/knowledge of the customer....

in summary, stick with BT if you want Sky BB!!!
