Oh well.. I wont argue there.. as all ISP's sometimes get into trouble handing out the customer's MAC.

I am staff, so I guess Im lucky

@Chu-Fye - most LLU providers will issue LLU MAC codes, trouble is, only Zen will accept them!

Still Chasing SKY , trying to put my order through.
I have a MAC code ready and I know I can get BB from them..

The Sales Staff are sooo incompetent.

      Ok... Just spoke to BT

BT is saying that I can sign up with them (BT) with my MAC Code..
they also said I can switch to ant other ISP (SKY).. Lol..

I see a strange conspiracy here..

Seems SKY is trying to get customers to switch back to BT

      Ok..

      Another update

Spoke to a new Customer Service Rep.. (who seemed to know EXACTLY) what he was doing and what he was talking about.

He said someone left a messed up order on my lead, so he had to spend a couple minutes clearing that up.

With that done, he took my MAC and proceeded to do a new order, and explained TOC etc.

So lets not hope some rubbish happends this time.. Said my router should be here on Saturday, but Monday at latest.

Sigh.. Here's to waiting and hoping again!

Rang SKY again, and was told by 2 ladies that I cannot Migrate.
But I thought to maself.. hey, why do they give Migration codes then?
I work for CarPhoneWarehouse and we give MAC codes to people who want to migrate to other ISP's.

I decided to call back, and spoke to a superisor, who then told me, he can see nothing wrong with my order, n that it was fine.
He then said to me, it would be best to do the whole order over again.
He then told me it would take 3-5 days for my existing order to be written off the system.. I would then have to call back n order again.

Something tells me, Ill be gettin 2 Routers

so im confused? is it a yes or a no? to TT Land line and SKY BB together

      Technically it should be OK..

But there might be an agreement between SKY and BT not to progress orders from customers on TalkTalk.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention : Starngely, 1 day after I placed my initial SKY order, I got a letter from BT , asking me if I had problems with TalkTalk, and that they would give me a good deal if I came back to BT!

      Might be some connection there..

      Who knows..!
