Mid, Max, Base more reliable than Connect???

Hi I am currently on Sky Connect, soon to be moving to the Mid package according to Sky. Will the service be more reliable when I move to Mid because its through the LLU service rather than through BT? I dont know if there is a yes or no answer to this question so if not can people give their general opinion.

      Thanks

Re: Mid, Max, Base more reliable than Connect???

Been on mid since November 7 month's, apart from disconnections in the early days which turned out to be my poor extension wiring. No issues at all solid 8mb connection.
Well apart from when I am fighting for bandwidth with my brother because he is always canning the hell out of the connection with his downloads!!

Cant comment on Conect, never had it.

as far as i know mid is the upto 8mb product for LLU - yes LLU should be more reliable and as koala says it's usually solid.

base is connect with a 2GB limit

Max is upto 16MB and again same LLU technology so same preformance

base is connect with a 2GB limit
Base is Sky LLU, nothing to do with Connect. It has a 2MB speed cap and 2GB download.

Yea thanks for all the replies!!! Alan B did you have to ring up to be migrated or should it just be automatically done by Sky? I rang Sky about 2 weeks ago and they said my exchange should be LLU ready sometime in June but they don't know an exact date. I then rang up again today and they said they did not have access to that information............I love Sky Customer Service, if thats what you call it .
