      No router!

Hello I am new to this forum!

I order my sky broadband well over a month ago now!

All my line is activated but I still haven't got my router, They said it was sent out on the 31st of August (rubbish) And I'd receive it 2 days before my activation date so the 3rd of September and be activated on the 5th.

I rung up sky to track where abouts my router was .They said I should get it soon. I still didnt receive it and gave them another call to ask for a tracking number for parceline and they was unable to provide me with one! So they said we will call you back once we have spoken to parceline. 20 minutes later I got a call saying parceline attempted 2 deliverys to my address and posted 2 cards through my door because I was apparently out even though I have been in all the time waiting for it to arrive.

I am very dissapointed they now told me they will resend a new one out to me as mine was one of the very manys whose got lost! Im hoping to receive it on wednesday.

      Welcome to skyuser.co.uk skonz

Sorry to hear of your problems with the router, we did a survey and the mahority of people did recieve this within a few days, saying that yours should be with you soon and then you will be able to use your new connection.

Saying that a load of them (4500) did go missing, and to be fair, i feel that the CS staff have been kept in the dark a bit.

On balance thought if you read ADSLG loads of other ISP's do the same.

Hopefully once established Sky will have listened to their customers and learnt from their mistakes
