      I have removed the "ring wire" and got my speed up to.....
      Downstream 4160kbps
      It has been steady now for 7 hrs. What with the distance from my exchange, i think i am about at max speed.

      Sorry to hijack this thread, but......

      When I log into my Bt.com account if I track my order all I get is an error.
      Order tracking: BT Total Broadband
      We can't find your order details.
      There is no option to track anything else.

      Thats odd because it is working for me, you have set up an account. Perhaps it is worth trying to set it up again or try again later as it might just be an error on the website. I have noticed that on the BT site that if you do not login after a certain legthh of time then your password becomes invalid and you have to reset it.

      There is no option to track anything else.

      This happened to me. The way to get at it is to log on using the Business link instead of the Personal login link. Good luck

      The way to get at it is to log on using the Business link instead of the Personal login link.
      I can confirm that, for some reason it does not seem to work with the Personal link. Maybe BT think individuals should not have this information, but I just don't understand why it should work with the business link, when you don't have a business phone.
