      Angry Someone Help

      I have been on Sky Broadband since 18th August and I have never been able to Log on to the Home Page, when I put the User name and the obscure password that was given to me on my letter it has never worked, when you press login the two cells just clear themselves and does nothing.
      I have phoned Sky loads of times and have lost count, but still no email etc.
      The annoying thing is that people who have just joined are able to access their email and Home Page but not me.
      Sky says they have problems, but how do others manage it. Itís Not Fair! I have now given up on this and I am using Google mail with MS Outlook as this seems to work.
      But as for my @sky.com email is concerned it looks as if I shall never get it or access to the home page. I only hope that they do NOT decide to pull the plug on my connection as well as all I get is disconnections all the time, despite the cap they have put on my line, from 16mg to 7.6mg.
      Please can someone with a bit of clout get this sorted as I feel like throwing my Broadband Box out the window? I honestly think that this was my biggest mistake getting Sky Broadband and now I am stuck with the dam thing for a year.

      Sorry to hear of your problems, i would presume another member would be able to offer some advice very shortly

      There appears to be serious problems with their portal / email at the moment.

      We know Sky read this forum, and do act on some of the things that are said on here, and we have offered them the hand of friendship for them to get involved. I know that aint what you want to hear at this moment. However things will get better and i am sure its just a teething problem. Keep in there!

      Hi Keith,

      I have followed your problems elsewhere

      I think you know I am one of the annoying lucky few.. ALthough if you hunt around here you will see that I have had my own problems sonce connecting

      I am not really sure what to advise you, but Annie tried reinstalling flash and her login started working. She is not sure if that was acoincidence or not though.

      Also can you log into the mysky portal?

      It is seperate, but is where you manage your account. You may be able to change your log in there. I will give you fair warning though it is working but very slow, and it is just a suggestion. I cannot guarantee it will work.

      Sorry I can't be of more help....

      I have just re-loaded Flash and also the portal page, unfortunately they both did not do the trick.
      They did not want to know me!
      Thanks for your help and for trying.
      I do find that people are very helpful on this forum compared to others like Digital Spy to name but a few.
      It’s a great Forum designed purely for Sky. Keep Up the Good Work.

      Hi Keith,

      Just to let you know that you're not the only one! I can't logon to the sky broadband portal either. But, I can logon to the mysky portal, but it doesn't help as I can't seem to set up any more email account from there!

      Here's hoping someone can come up with a solution!!

      Thanks Keith I really do appreciate your frustration. From what we have heard sky do seem to be aware of this issue, but their communication has not been very good. Perhaps when they have been running a while they will set up a status web page listing current issues and give customers a way to sheck if something has been ticketed, without spending time on the phone to support. It would be a good move in the long run I think!

      Question Not Recognised



      I have just used the Lost Your User Name & also Lost Your Password.
      And as far as they are concerned I do not exist.
      I get the feeling that when some inadequate Admin Staff of a foreign nature possibly by the sound of the way they spoke set me up they must have been well inebriated, and it could be a case of my ID being lost forever.
      I donít expect Sky would have the courtesy to re register and set me up again due to something that is their ****-up.
      I had to put the phone down at one time as someone was speaking to me in a foreign language,and would not speak English

      sorry Keith, so you cannot log in to the mysky portal either then? In that case you will have to go through sky. At least you do not have to pay for the call

      Phoned Sky It did Cost/Wast Of Space

      I went Live with Sky on 18th August, I have phoned nine times, all calls cost as they showed up on my bill (Not Cheap I can tell you £15 in all).
      Basically they said there is nothing they can do, and I believe them they have well and truly mucked up with some people.

      I just thought it would be nice to have a @sky.com email which should of been part of the package, but they have denied my the privilege of having one, so I shall now just have to accept that.
      I do feel I have wasted a lot of time and money on this issue, and get nowhere.
      Infact under the circumstances I now feel embarrassed to have a @sky.com email. They can keep the dam thing. I shall not go on about this anymore. I have lost.
