Router diconnects & connection stats vary wildy

My router still disconnects. Having followed the advice of turning off upnp, channel 6 (108), use Mossywell utility which is great but even that fails to reboot router on some occaisions.
Latest is that I have noticed my noise ration as depicted in Mossywell utility as varying widely between 21.2 dB and -2 dB (yep, the minus sign is supposed to be there).

Line Attenuation 60.0 db 31.5 db
Noise Margin 20.9 db 13.0 db

I know its not my PC and router as I tried another router (having 'cracked the code') and I NEVER had disconnect problems such as this with my previous ISP.
What to do as I don't really want to get involved in some drawn out conversation with a help desk techie telling me to rebbot my PC see if that works etc...
      Regards

Have you extracted your detailed stats and posted them if not use this Sky Netgear DG834GT utility version 0.4 to extract them.

A few errors there, but your attenuation is quite high 60db which would indicate you are a long way from the exchange, have you tried the test socket which is hidden behind the face plate of the master socket assuming it is an NTE5, if things improve when plugged in there then you may have extension wiring problems.

Re: Router diconnects & connection stats vary wildy

the minus is for upstream, wouldn't worry about that. is very low though. Stupidly i can't get a picture in my head of what these stats look like when they are properly formatted. Does anyone have a screenshot of the stats they could send to me?
It doesn't get better than this band lol
