      anybody had this

      well i am on sky so was telling my brother all about it and he said i will have some of that so he rang his old isp which was AOL and got the mac code and gave it to SKY

      waited 2 weeks had no letters or phone calls rang SKY to be told sorry your exchange is full and we can not take any more orders in other words (tuff)

      he would of been on the same exchange as me

      i told him to ring sky again just incase

      but he has tried 3 time all they all say sorry exchange is full

      Yep I have heard of that before, no connections left in rack until the add capacity. The only other possibilty is to ask if he can have connect. Which is a rebadged BT product so if would be connected to BT equipment in the exchange rather than Sky but that may cost 17.99 a month.

      tried putting the number in must be correct

      because all its offering now is connect for 5 A MONTH and i have tried a few other numbers in my area so must be fulllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll

      Isn't 5 a month for Connect better than what ever he was paying for Pipex ?

      Yeah then in theory Sky will transfere him to another package once the exchange capacity has been increased. If they are offering connect at 5 then that usually means the exchange will be upgraded within 6 month's.

      yeah 5 connect is up to 8megs anyway. tell him to go for that. they just hadn't anticipated the uptake. U never know u might be jealous when he gets a better speed than u lol
      It doesn't get better than this band lol
