      Mid To Max !!

I was thinking of upgrading from the mid package to the max package because I thought I might get a better speed. Phoned up Sky and they told me upgrading is no problemo, But I will be only connecting at 5 Mbs which is strange considering I am getting just below 6 Mb on the mid package at the moment. asked him if this was a estimate , he say nope , 5 Mb is what i will get only advantage is I will get is unlimited download.

      Any thoughts anybody ???

      Re: Mid To Max !!

hi well i am not on sky though when going through a few isp's lately i kept getting told the most -best my line could take was 2-3mb yet when on aol i was on 8mb so earm yea?????

even now on freeola apparently 2 is what i should of got but i am and can plainly see i am getting 8mb in all youll likely get better than what your getting at the mo they can provide a 8-16mb bb conection to you though your line might only take-handle xx mb perhaps this is where this 5mb is coming from

      Hi Mango,
You wont get any improvement with your download speed with the max package unless you can improve your receive noise margin.
Try performing some of the procedures listed elsewhere on the forum.
