i presume you have used the cd from sky

you dont need to do this uninstall AOL and sky and try connecting your router as normal and you should be connected

as i say you dont need the cd

also make sure your lan card is enabled

the Sky CD only puts on IE7 (if you don't have it) and McAfee - other than that you don't need it for anything. Windows should pick up the LAN connection and just use it (unless you have IE set to dial up a connection)

      simple in theory...

      Re: sky desktop icons

tbh, Uninstall all of them, AOHELL and Sky, All they do is install a BRANDED version, So if people have a habit of taking Screenshots, People can see that they are using Sky in other words, Community Advertising - Free!

Once you have Uninstalled them, Especially AOL have a habit of leaving all their stuff behind,
      See; Optimise Your Computer!
That will show you how to clean up your PC!

      Re: sky desktop icons

If wireless has been enabled, Should have been on default, Scan for the wireless network on your Computer/PC.

Try connecting to your network, Use the WPA Key that would be on the TicketSlip that comes with your router, Make sure each character is like on the slip, Lowercase etc ect
