      Free Sky Broadband

I joined Sky in November last year on mid package but they have never charged me a penny for the service! Being the honest person I am I have called them a couple of times before to highlight the issue only to be confronted with alot of confusion at there end, no-one could understand how I could be recieving the service and not be paying for it! but said they would look into it and would be in touch with me. As predicted no one has contacted me and still no charges!
Well this morning I thought I would give it one more go! Got through straight away, thats a first! Explained it all again and they said "Yes we know you are one of a few thousand, don't worry about it we have a problem with our accounts system it will be fixed sometime in the future, so you can have it for free for now and we wont be requesting back payment because its our fault!!!"

Make sure you get that in writing! Last thing you want is a big bill one month and your trying to explain some girl in CS told you it would be FREE, no comeback.

I was told by Sky Sales I would get equivalent Sky-Mid for 5 till it becomes active in my area, but when I got my first bill was being charged 17. Had to say I had an email (which I did) saying I could be it for 5.

      Re: Free Sky Broadband

We ordered around the same time and we also aren't getting charged for Broadband Max. Our situiation is the same as yours Koala, it doesn't appear at all on the bill or our Sky.com account.

It could just be happening to the people who ordered it around the November/December of last year.

Skys multiple systems confuse me, as it obviously does them as well.
