Sky use Parceline, The router usually arrives around on average, 2-3 days before your activation date, Sometime around the time when you recieve the welcome letter with your MySky login on.

have to correct you there they do not use parcel line they use parcel force the trouble i had with this when they were supposed to send my equipment

i got told sky no longer use parcel line they did a long time ago and when i rang parcel line with the order number and gave them my postcode they wondered what i was on about

CS nice lady (yet again) said why they told you parceline is a mystery not properly trained (heard that somewhere before)

They must of changed couriers in the last 4 weeks, As we recieved a replacement router from that.

Either way if there is any courier to avoid, Its CityLink.

your probably right they probably use both so it could be parcel line or parcel force your equipment will be sent by

if you get an order number from sky (i did) make sure you ask is it parcelforce or parceline saves a lot of money when tracking your order

      Re: how long for equipment?

My Brother has signed up to Connect and when I spoke to him briefley yesterday neither router nor letter had turned up. I know the router is not dispatched until after activation but what about the letter telling him his actual date, surely he has to get that first.

When I changed over to Sky both router and letter turned up three days after my line was activated so I don't know when he is supposed to get the welcoming letter.
