      Big thanks!!

Just a big thank-you to all who have posted and mailed me in helping with my Sky set-up. It started out looking like a real mess. Late connection, endless customer service calls..! month before connection. Then when connected, the wiring left by Sky engineer (plug-the-box-in-only-man) killed my speed to 1 meg at best. Then I posted a help request (thanks reddwarfcrew) looked at a few other posts and hey presto!!Im on a nice fat 7ish meg(thank-you-very-much-!!)Great stuff again guys!! There must be thousands of people out threre who have Sky poorband and havnt configured thier connection. They offer a great connection at a tenth of NTL but are let down by badly informed advisors and poorly configured set-ups.
You really need to do a deal with Sky and get sponsored, you make customer services look like poorly trained amatures!!
      Keep up the good work!
      Is their a donations bit??

Unfortunately SkyUser dont accept donations from Members afaik, However I understand SkyUser has/is a Selected Charity where you can send any donations to.

Glad you found SkyUser make sure you spread the word to those who havent heard of SkyUser and could do with the help..

Well I think educating the installers (about this site) would got a long way to cutting down call waiting times.
As for the charidee bit, who and where? You could always have an inoccuious 'donate' button lurking around the site banner??
      You know-server costs,web space,christmas party etc.etc
      Keep up the good work!
      Cheers
      Dean
