      You could try taking Mcafee off and try a quick surf. You should be safe as long as you keep out of dodgy sites. If there is a big improvement then you will know what to do. The latest Norton has had some good reviews, so it might be worth a try. I use AVG7 and AVG anti-spy, both free, myself and touch wood, I have never had any problems.

      i've found that internet explorer loads pictures e.g. in google images much quicker than my firefox, which at the moment loads only 2 pictures when searching in google images and then gets stuck and cannot load the rest. this is strange, i have uninstalled firefox and reinstalled the latest version but it still does this. is there anything i can do i? firefox really is much better than internet explorer and i want to continue using it!
