      4mb with bt WHAT WILL SKY MAX GIVE ME

      I get about 4mb with bt BB but have VIRGIN MEDIA broadband at the moment what speed will i get with sky broadband any one know i can not tell you my line stats as i am on cable BB,

      You need to get your line attenuation figure from your router stats for us to be able to help. As you can't provide these, thne you;ll have to ring sky.

      I thought adsl2 was better than adslmax.

      depends on the length of your line.

      In some circumstances g.dmt (ie adslmax) is better than adsl2+ and vice versa.

      I was told I'd get about 3Mb and actually get a nice stable connectin at 7Mb. You may the same, you may be better, you may be worse. Without knowing your attenuation, it's impossible to say. Sorry.
